Our landscape design ideal is to create aestheticly refined, sustainable and pragmatic design solutions for people and landscapes. Our designers make original design responses that are uniquely suited to the individual needs of our clients and their garden. As specialists in the field of domestic landscape design we apply our broad range of industry experience to develop a fully resolved design response that encompasses site analysis, concept development, construction standards and planting design.

We're excited working on all projects, from innovative new design opportunities to heritage sites, from completely new gardens to garden renovations. Our team works with all elements of landscape design and construction, and we tailor the overall design and individual design elements to create a harmonious and consistent new image.

What's involved in our Design Process

1. Initial Design Consultation

This is our first client meeting where over around two hours we get to know your needs and goals and evaluate the situation on site to develop an initial design approach. This can be a stand-alone appointment with design advice provided as time allows within the consultation, or can lead on to later development of a full design concept with concept plan. If you do go ahead from the initial design consultation to having a full landscape design drawn up the cost of this initial consultation is absorbed into the design fee.

2. Design Concept

This part of the process involves working up a full design concept, a unique design response. There are up to 2 further client consultations and/or site visits to work through your goals in conjunction with the site qualities and constraints and design opportunities that will all affect the overall design outcome. We'll provide you with an A1 concept plan on paper or digital file.

(An optional colour presentation plan is an additional fee.)

3. Specifications Plan and Planting Plan

We encourage you to go ahead with construction of your new landscape as by this stage it represents a fully resolved response to your goals defined and shaped in consultation with our experienced designers. At this stage you receive fully specified landscape plans detailing construction methods, dimensions and materials for all hard landscape elements of the design such as retaining, paving, water features and pergolas, and a specified planting plan for the planting installation.
